Pours a darker hazy golden color with a decent head. Aroma is juicy, fruity and malty as is the taste. Residue in the can, almost creamy mouthfeel. Really good, I think the Nectaron hops provide the juiciness. BOD 11-23-2023. have had a while.

Dune
Great Notion Brewing IPA - New England / Hazy
Fresh and snappy feel becomes very smooth and easy. Lightly malted golden grains like white wheat come to mind in the malt bill. Hops are very topical and sweet, red berries and tangy pineapple. White grape juice and peppery melon pop in at the finish. Canned 3/11/24. Opened on 5/23/24 " Don't wake the worms"

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Big time ripe tropical and stone fruit, resinous pine, zesty citrus, faintly dank herbal notes, a touch floral, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Juicy tropical fruit, nectarine, mango, passion fruit, pineapple, strawberry, and a touch of guava, zesty citrus, lemon lime, candied grapefruit, and tangerine, resinous pine, underlying faintly dank herbal notes, floral hints, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Snapped this one up on a visit to the Berkeley tap room not long after seeing Dune 2; couldn't resist, the timing was too perfect. Really nice hop combo, bringing plenty of juicy tropical fruit and citrus, but also plenty of resinous, piney, and herbal depth. Sits a touch sweeter than I'd prefer, but that's my only mild gripe.

some really dope can art here, and another cool and modern hazy from these guys, this one more refined than a lot of the ones i have had have been, easier to drink, no so intense on the body weight, and without the overdosed hop burn i have come to expect in many of their beers in this style. strata, simcoe, and nectaron hops, a wicked combination. the strata brings dense citrus and light floral vibe, the simcoe a familiar dankness with a juniper backing, and the nectaron makes it unique with drippy ripe peach and even some apparent sweetness along with it, enhancing and extending the stone fruit to me in both the nose and the flavor, there is no drop off from aroma to taste, they are identical. nuances of raw coconut, honeydew, key lime, and lemongrass, the freshness is radiant and the grain never slows this down. the hop combination rules, all do their own thing in this, and there really isnt any sort of oily texture to it despite all the hops. the ferment is clean, this is on the dry side, and the overall quality of this is off the charts. a great can of beer, i should have bought the four pack instead of the single, but some of these are super heavy and i was worried, ive loved the last handful of great notion beers ive had, need to reload! so stoked to have their stuff available in boise now! a top favorite recent ipa for me, lighter to drink than it looks, super tasty!

16oz can pours a milky and hazy dull gold with a hefty off-white head. Lots of tropical fruit and stone fruit on the nose, zingy, with an impression of catty, somewhat dank citrus peel on the palate with moderate bitterness and dryness. Decent all around.

16oz can at share. Hazy yellow pour with a soft white foamy head. Aroma is tropical fruit with a buzzy edge. Taste adds light citrus peel accents to the fruity tropical base. Finishes bitter and dry.
