6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. There's some citrus (mainly orange) and tropical fruit, maybe some pineapple, going on, but it's very sharp, sweet, and boozy. Could be a bad keg, but I was not impressed with this beer at all.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 6/12/24.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with tons of haze and a thick finger of frothy eggshell foam. Nice.
Smell: lovely juicy tropical aroma with a focus on pineapple and passionfruit. Really enticing.
Taste: a little bit more rich depth than the aroma; there’s a good malt base that’s a bit on the sweet side, but a good passionfruit and mango character. Really quite good.
Mouthfeel: plenty of body with a good smoothness and a great carbonation and creaminess. Great!
Overall: a solid hazy IPA indeed. Just my kind of tropical jam.

Pale golden pour from the 16oz can, hazy with a pillowy marshmallow head. Strong tropical nose, juicy and floral and zippy...grapefruit peel and coconut, stone fruit and white grape. There is a brightness to it, lemon and lime-like flavors that are prickly and reminiscent of Nelson, but it seems like the Vic Secrete is shining the brightest here...this is very pillowy, soft, floral, expressive, hoppy, tropical, and fruity.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Green grassy notes, resinous pine, zesty citrus, plenty of tropical and stone fruit, hints of Nelson fruitiness, floral notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Bright, citrus, tangerine, lime, lemon, and grapefruit, tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, white peach, apricot, gooseberry, and a hint of white grape, resinous pine, green grassy herbal notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderately lively carbonation, a touch of hop bite can poke through at times.
O: After a foggy week this one is a ray of sunlight. Wouldn't mind if the Nelson's trademark fruitiness came through a little stronger, but I'm not gonna complain about a Mosaic and Vic Secret driven beer.

Pours a hazy golden straw with two fingers of foamy head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of pineapple and tangerine. Taste follows nose.

Can dated 9/21/23 into pint glass. Pours a murky light gold color with a persistent off-white head. Good lacing. Initial impression is juicy pineapple, citrus, mango, and a light touch of caramel. Mouthfeel is super-juicy, soft and pillow-y. Finish fades to a slightly sweet citrus. An excellent NEIPA. Wish I'd bought more than a single!
