We also love it when a collab comes together with Vice Beer. Our hazy IPA is howling mad and unlocking new levels of flavor with Citra, Nelson Sauvin, and HBC 586 Cryo hops.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, juicy citrus, slightly grassy resinous notes, biscuity malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
T: Juicy citrus, orange, lemon, and grapefruit, ripe tropical, exotic, and stone fruit, pineapple, mango, gooseberry, peach, guava, white grape, and a hint of red berries, a bit resinous, subtle grassy herbal slightly sulphur notes, dare I say faint vanilla, biscuity malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: I'll be honest, I grabbed this one mostly because of the lable art that goes along with the name. (It's fantastic.) I got a little worried when I saw HBC 586 on the hop list (we haven't exactly gotten along well in the past), but the sulphur notes that I usually have a problem with are really subdued here and the fruity notes it brings play nicely with the proven combo of Citra and Nelson. Sits a little sweeter than I'd like, but that's really about the only thing holding me back from rating it a bit higher.

A very good hazy, another one I should say, 16oz can pours that perfect hazy golden-sunset color with an ample offering of head lacing, hop-forward and citrusy with all the normal trimmings; grapefruit, orange, pineapple, zesty too, creamy and smooth.

Poured from a 16 ounce can dated 7-22-24 into a Teku glass at 52 degrees.
Look- Straw, very hazy, white sudsy head, slightly above average head retention, average lacing.
Smell- Grapefruit, melon, pineapple, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Grapefruit, orange, lemon, pith, medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation, low bitterness, moderate creaminess, mildly dry finish, slight astringency.
Overall- Straw and very hazy with slightly above average head retention and average lacing. Nose was predominantly grapefruit with some slight notes of melon and pineapple. Flavor was a more balanced mix of grapefruit, orange, lemon and pith. Medium bodied with moderate creaminess and slight astringency. Overall this was an enjoyable beer, but only slightly above average for the style.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Looks like grapefruit juice, huge white foamy head settles fast. Juicy, citrusy aroma, touch of pineapple. Taste is more of the citrusy, juicy flavors, light citrus zest. Juicy and then some. A pleasure from the first sip.

I Love It When A Van Comes Together
Great Notion Brewing IPA-New England / Hazy
Aroma of lemon drops and grapefruity hops. A tangy citrus bite happens first. Grapefruit and earthy lemon flavor is clean, juicy, but slightly thin, and then smooths out in the finish. Nice level of complexity for 7% abv. Hazy. A sweet candy finish.
