seriously one of the best great notion sours ive had, one of the best guava beers ever too, love that its a single fruit and not a mess of tropical fruit where more exotic stuff like pink guava is easily lost to things like pineapple, orange, and mango, prefer them in isolation in beers like this i think, and great notion is nailing all of them. this might be my favorite so far though, creamy and rich looking and feeling, tinted just pinkish orange in the glass, very soft, frothed up, heady, and inviting looking beer, half inch of dense almost nitro pure white head on top of the hazy brew. aroma is instantly mouthwatering, huge ripe and real guava character, tart with the souring but way clean, lemony, a bit of that warheads candy citric acid thing, and some hearty wheat behind it, simple and super well refined. the flavor is awesome, its the absolute essence of the fruit without much sweetness at all, and the aftertaste is amazing, intense guava character but super high authenticity too, so it doesnt present as overdone even a little bit. its got a nice stretched out texture, some starch to it, but prickly carbonation too, very active and springy and alive. love the guava flavor, its epic, perfect sourness level here too, still real drinkable, and amazingly drinkable for the style. stoked to have found this on tap, and am super pumped on great notion sours right now, these are better than just about everything else out there. adored this!

This is a totally new taste for me as I have never had a Tart not a Sour Beer before. The beer shows a golden color, cloudy color with a medium head. You can smell the guava and the taste is that of guava , grape skin and pineapple but there is a tartness of sour cream added to the mix. The tartness is not too bad and I can compliment the brewer that he did a good job creating this beer. But for me I did not even finish the glass of beer and would never buy again.
