West Coast Juice Jr. takes inspiration from its hazy namesake and the Mosaic hop. This crisp Westy is dry hopped with Mosaic and Mosaic Lupomax hops.

Another good escape from the ubiquitous NEIPA!!! Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer featured a mostly clear light gold color and a big frothy head with some thick rings of foamy lacing. Aroma included lots of floral hops and some pine. Taste was piney, bitter with some grapefruit - good standard AIPA flavors. Mouthfeel was crisp, bitter with a little piney resinous aspect. A solid AIPA!!!

Gifted a can by Shawn. Another well made tasty WCIPA from GN. Pretty clean with a slight touch of haze.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden straw yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some nice light lacing.
S: Ripe citrus, grassy, floral, faintly dank, tropical and stone fruit, blueberry, a touch of pine, biscuity slightly bready malt, and a touch of caramel honey sweetness.
T: Bright ripe citrus, lemon lime and tangerine, quickly followed by tropical and stone fruit, apricot, blueberry, papaya, pineapple, passion fruit, peach, and guava, a touch of pine, underlying faintly dank grassy notes, a bit floral, slightly bready biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel honey sweetness.
M: Just a touch on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation, crisp.
O: It's been a while since I've had the original Juice Jr, so I can't easily say which I prefer, but I will say that I really enjoyed this one. Bright, crisp, flavorful, and balanced. Blueberry notes really stand out. Very well done modern West Coast IPA. I feel like I might be rating this one a little low.

Thought this one was fantastic; 16oz can, clear straw pour with an ample off-white head. Piney, dry, fruity, and uber-clean, hoppy and floral in all the right ways with a soft finish with some mild bitterness, could have taken down two or three of these in one sitting.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Clear golden pour, thin layer of white foam. Hoppy aroma, pine, citrus, light dank notes. Taste is mostly pine, light grapefruit zest notes coming in, resinous. A bit of sticky feel too, and some lingering bitterness.

Picked up a 4 pack from the Georgetown (Seattle) location, and poured into a shaker. I don’t know the original juice jr neipa, so…just going at this one without expectations, other than that this brewery should be able to make a solid ipa. All in all, I think this is really good. The mosaic notes are very strong and clear and clean — takes things in a very citrusy (tangerine) and slight floral direction. Malt backbone is unobtrusive and doesn’t add much to the taste (as far as I can tell) but it provides a solid platform for the hops to shine. I wouldn’t mind more bitterness, but if this is a revised version of a beer that started out as a neipa, I can see why it keeps things from getting out of hand. Nice moderate to high carbonation, smooth mouthful that dries out a little at the end, without losing the juicy vibe that runs throughout the whole mouthful. Very good beer…wouldn’t stand in line for it, but would gladly look forward to drinking again.
