the single fruit tropical sours have been coming fast and furious from these guys, and im here for it, these represent some of the best beers in this kettle sour style that are available anywhere, they are bold but unforced, sweet but honest, and more drinkable than a lot of them because of both restrained acidity and clean souring, simple beer really the lot of them, but really well done, and i was stoked to find this on tap this week. hazy real pale light yellow brew but with some density approaching murk, fizzy but not holding more than a quarter inch of head in the shaker pint, not my first glassware choice for a beer like this, the nose is a little bit of stomach acid at first, but sweet canned crushed pineapple quickly dominates, some wheat, maybe some pils malt at the core, but this is all fruit, sweet as it is tart, and very summery and fresh, although also slightly candied in the way real pineapple can be. the taste is just like the nose, a slight plastic note up front, lemon hard candy, and then all pineapple with a near enough to the real fruit acidity that i like a lot and isnt too sour to drink as a pint beer. the pineapple has a little fade to it, also a little quick and cheap kind of side, like the little cans of dole juice, still made from pineapple, but dont quite taste like a bit of the fruit. the grain base is out of the way but adds a lovely texture here, carbonation is good, and its drier than it smells so its not too long on the palate. some lemon to the acid profile, earthy and grounded as a whole, and overall tasty with strong summer vacation and tropical island vibes. ive had this one, papaya, and guava from them all recently, and they all bang. cool to feature individual fruits rather than lumping them all together like everyone else does, way cool!

A nice, lighter tart ale that hits the spot for me, a sour fruited with pineapple. 16oz can pours out mostly clear straw gold with a big fluffy white head. Very effervescent, sweet and tart notes of pineapple are pretty balancing overall, I'm digging the fruity tropical vibes on this one. Very aromatic and flavorful for 6%, approachable and crushable. Good stuff.
