Black with little to no head. Cacao nibs, peanuts, graham cracker and salty aroma and flavor; there’s a lot going on here. Decent balance but definitely sweet. Medium bodied with a sweet chocolate dessert-like finish.

A pretty good dessert beer. A strong, malty stout with the gimmick being the adjunct ingredients are all snack food (explains the phrase "Imperial Garbage Stout" on the can). Poured from a 16 oz. can into a pint glass, this beer features a dense, black color. no light comes through. It produces a medium sized khaki/dark tan head with good retention for a beer at 9%. abv. Good lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste include lots of bready malt, peanuts, marshmallow and vanilla. There is a grainy aspect as well, probably the pretzels, potato chips and graham crackers listed on the can. Mouthfeel is rich and somewhat sweet but not over-the-top cloying. I had it with a lamb chop dinner and it probably would have been better as a slow sipper on a cool night by my fire pit. In all, not bad at all. I enjoyed it,

16oz can poured into a teku
A- pours black in color with a one finger foamy khaki head that reduces to a ring
S- aromas opens with chocolate and peanuts up front, with undertones of vanilla marshmallow, caramel and a hint of graham cracker
T- sweet chocolate and marshmallow up front with a creamy vanilla note. Mid-palate gives notes of peanuts as well as a salty note. The finish brings out some graham cracker as it warms, sweet chocolate linger
M- medium body with moderate carbonation, leads to a foamy mouthfeel that turns slightly creamy into a warming finish

Thank you first, this is not an imperial stout. It has no part of the flavor profile of an imperial stout. Second, it tastes and feels like melted artificial chocolate ice cream. And I don't mean one of the good ice creams, I mean middle of the road, acceptable in a hot day, cheap ice cream. It is definitely not the worst thing I've ever tasted, and if you like a beer that tastes like a melted artificially flavored chocolate desserts, this is a really excellent example of that particular type. So, if you like this stuff, I am not going to tell you you're wrong! For myself, as a lover of dry stouts, I would personally call this a big yuck. (Love us have melted sweet desserts, and similar flavor profiles, please discount this review.)

Really artificial tasting sugar bomb with no distinct flavors beyond sweetness with a weird aftertaste. Sad to see that the brewery is now having to add coloring to their beer along with fake flavors.
