Look: Pours a murky bright yellow and quickly, a bulbous head forms and holds as a pillow, slowly receding and leaving awesome lacing left behind

Aroma: Navel orange, Cara cara orange, ruby-red grapefruit, some mango, light cantaloupe melon, Cannabis, gooseberries, fir needles, and sweet bready malt

Taste: Whoa. Opens up with a super juicy and borderline overripe hit of citrus fruit and melon that start pithy and quickly turns to overripe and sweet. Mango comes on next along with fruity Cannabis but the palate-dominating overripe fruit continues to hold position as it moves to the finish, which brings in a little more pithy citrus and berry before closing out

Mouthfeel: Full – thick at times, soft, medium carbonation, and thick, soft, and heavy on the finish

Overall: Eh, unfortunately, I’m not a fan of this one. I knew it was a gamble for me given that it’s Great Notion and a hazy DIPA, but I loved the name and can art so grabbed a cheap single to test but it was what I thought it would be. A decent hazy DIPA with a nice nose but the flavor is too muddled, heavy, and cloying for me, as well as the feel. Ah well, can’t win then all. YMMV
