Pours a muted gold color, dirty hazy not pretty. Aroma is citrus and sweetness. Nice medium malt body. Taste is great with a light sweetness & grapefruit flavor. Goes down easily. BOD 4-22-2026

I had this beer on-tap in a tulip glass at Edway Taphouse in Edmonds.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of turbidity and a finger if frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: sweet and super fruity with passionfruit, apricot, citrus, maybe even a little pineapple. A lovely tropical mix that’s right up my alley!
Taste: sweet malt with a lot of the same fruity character as the aroma, with maybe some berry notes added in for good measure. Juicy, tropical, and just what I’m looking for in a hazy.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and good creaminess.
Overall: totally solid hazy, and with a flavor profile that particularly appeals to me. Yum!

16oz can picked up at Big Head's Bottle Shop in Missoula, MT
Poured into a Unibroue tulip
P vibrant hazy yellow/ light orange w/ a 2f foamy white head; good retention; heavy spotty lace left behind
N med-bold; really nice nose of tropical fruits, banana, mango, and sweet milk sugar; inviting; melon as it opens; maybe a bit of neutral orange as well
T light biscuity malt, tropical fruit, and light milk sugar, with tangy melon and green hops in the finish; solid
Mf light-med bodied w/ med-high carb; lighter than expected, but it works well with the profile; has a unique element that I can only describe as cascaded/multi-layered
O this one is right in my wheelhouse for hazies- great stuff; glad I grabbed it!

This is a top tier hazy. My favorite brew I've had from Great Notion so far.
Awesome can art. Probably also my favorite that I've seen from them. Pours with a moderately hazy body of golden color and a short but persistent layer of eggshell white head.
This has a really rich aroma. Not just a tropical fruit juice bomb, this clearly has a lot of umami to it. Notes of pine, rosemary, cara cara and lemon hit my nose first, followed by juicy pear, pineapple, mango, melon, lychee, white grape and peach with an earthy rye and sourdough bread finish.
One of the most interesting aromas I've found in a hazy, and yet one of the smoothest on the palate. I get a citrusy herby sourdough bread impression overall, but there is a richness to it that I can only think to compare to mushrooms--like a mushroom broth.
And the mouthfeel to this is incredibly light and smooth. I could drink these all night.
If only I was made of money. At nearly 7$ a pint, these must remain a treat. Cheers!

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Green, grassy, herbal, resinous pine, hints of diesel, bright citrus, light tropical and stone fruit, crackery biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Opens with grassy herbal notes with a hint of diesel, which get cut off by resinous pine, which is then overtaken by bright lively citrus, grapefruit, tangerine, lime, and lemon, which gives way to tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, mango, guava, peach, and blueberry, built in crackery biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Light to medium body, slightly prickly carbonation, soft on the plate, finishes fairly clean and dry, not sure I've ever described a hazy as crisp before, but, yeah, it kinda is.
O: This one is fascinating. It feels like each different flavor group flashes past, like you're sucking on an Everlasting Gobstopper in Willy Wonka's tunnel of terror. It's descriptively light and drinks kinda like one of Cellarmaker's hazy pale ales, despite pushing 7%. This would make for a dangerous summer crusher.

Pouts pale yellow hazy, good lacing. Very faint nose. A little over carbonated for me so didn't like the mouthfeel decent but not great.

Pours a hazed gold with a thumb of beige head. Average-ish head retention & better lacing
S: Citrus & tropical fruits in abundance, great nose
T: Guava, mango, oranges a touch of powdery dryness up front. Tangerine, lime, guava, passion fruit & a little pineapple as this beer warms up, dryness decreases as this beer warms up. Finishes with passion fruit, guava, a little pineapple & some dryness
MF: Medium body, dialed back carbonation, good balance
Easy to drink, much to like here. Thrilled to have finally tried this brewery
