another totally over the top fruited kettle sour from these guys, this is definitely not the side of their brewing that i most look forward to, and an nearly eight bucks a single, its a bit cost prohibitive as well. this one is done with dragonfruit, watermelon, and key lime, a summery combination, but this straight up smells and tastes like kids drink, yellow gatorade meets watermelon jolly ranches, with citrusy acidity but also quite a lot of residual sugar, a little is plenty for me, and this is a continuation of these sort of gimmicky super flavored sours they do, fun for a splash i guess, but not something i will be chasing down again anytime soon. muted reddish pinkish orange color on this, starchy looking and without a lot of head or carbonation, which is a demerit for me in this type of beer, but it does look fruity. the nose is perfumed and intense, artificial to me, limey and the fruity punchy, sweet, not beery at all. the flavor is similar, sugary, generic fruity hard candy, lime pucker, the lactic souring isnt real intense, not all that acidic overall, some almost electrolyte character to this playing into that sports drink vibe this has, long on the palate after each sip too, lime is the predominant flavor, but i can get the others too. this has some body, but its not a malty beer at all, and its another one from them like this where i am left wishing for a bit more from the beer elements. it doesnt taste bad, its goofy and silly and unserious in a way that maybe beer needs more of, but i also dont want more than half a can. the beer equivalent of a cigarette advertisement targeting teenagers...
