Pours a dull orange with a hazy clarity. Nose expresses a hit of Mandarin orange and perhaps a kiss of lactose(?). Taste reveals citrus and pith; however, the herbal/medicinal quality is a bit too forward. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an oiliness to the texture and a pleasant, even carbonation. Overall, decent but not really my thing.

Canned on 4/4/22; consumed on 4/29/22

Pours a glossy, deep orange haze capped with multiple fingers of fluffy, slightly off-white foam; excellent head retention yields a chunky mounds cap along with a moderate, frothy collar climbing the glass to meet myriad webbing of lacing draped comprehensively down the walls of the glass.

Aroma opens to papaya and key lime as a dried lavender potpourri takes gold over the middle, fading to shreds of white grape and twangy white grapefruit on the back end as distant hints of dank blueberry and underripe peach linger.

Taste highlights lime compote with a lemon meringue undertone heavily upfront as a touch of bready malt segues into papaya peel and subtle pine over the mid-palate, while hints of of jasmine and white grapefruit on the back end culminate to an underripe peach finish.

Mouthfeel offers a medium body with a fluffy moderate carbonation; juicy characteristics breed an eventual resinous slickness over the mid-palate as a hop twang advances into back end and a pseudo-bitterness is invigorated into finish against a boggy brightness.

A lime-dominant profile largely overrides the underripe fruits and vividly herbal undertones evidentiary of another eccentric hop combo from Long Live; the flavor is a bit busy, though is compensated for by the overtly approachable and juicier resinous characteristics maintained throughout.
