Canned 2023/06/05
Pours a foamy 1/2 finger head with moderate retention, a bit of lacing, mostly clear light pale color
Nose rich grainy malt, doughy, cereal, straw, light herbal floral hop, little fruity component
Taste starts with malts again, grainy doughy, a bit of a weird sourdough like character, an unhappy bitterness with that, can't put my finger exactly on what it is, hops kick in quickly with herbal maybe piney character and that might be what's throwing it off, resiny note, med-light bitterness, dry finish with big hop mix of herbal piney mild resin spicy character, med-higher hop bitterness
Mouth is med to lighter bod, lighter carb
Overall not that good, malt seemed OK but the hops are way out of character for this and just throw the beer way off

Pours a pale yellow with a slight chill haze to the clarity and a fizzy, off-white head that dissipates towards the shoulders leaving a tight band around the perimeter and a dollop in the center. Nose expresses hints of adjuncts, grass and a trace of lemon. Taste consistent with nose - flavor profile is soft and pleasant. Mouthfeel is light on body with a mild, even carbonation. All and all, a really drinkable American lager. Not overly adjunct forward or sweet and pleasantly refreshing.
