this beer is absolutely gorgeous and grossly underrated here, its one of the best i have had from these guys, a dry hopped saison finished with brett. i have had the can in the fridge for awhile now, so perhaps the brett has developed a bit more than when it was released, but at fridge temperature im not sure it would. the beer i amazing either way, golden straw colored from the clever can, only hazy at the bottom bit, holding a pretty white head and leaving complex spider web lacing as it drinks. aroma is beautiful bretty funk and juicy hops, it has an almost lambic funkiness to it, but there is no acidity here at all, the brett is really soft and this has all the rustic character of something authentic from the old world. i like the hops though, some lime and lemongrass citrusy brightness juxtaposed against the brett, with a winey saison yeast in here too i think, no bitterness but lots of pep. the wheaty base is relatively light but almost creamy feeling, delicate but with some body and just a whole lot of carry for the hops, which are there in the flavor all the way through the finish. awesome funk, coming out more and more as this warms up, but i have a hard time not just slamming this, as its so dry and bubbly and interesting, but also refreshing, super well refined and really something special. i need to get my hands on some more of this, its one of the best unsung colorado beers i have had so far this year! perfect old school saison character melding with bright brett and juicy hops, i loved this!

This is a dry hopped brett saison. Really nice notes of brett. Fruity, nice citrusy hops. Really complex hops. Very drinkable.
