L: Pale gold-yellow with a thin short-lived head and no lacing to be had.
S: Salty like the sea and equally fresh jalapeño as if I was about to eat some pico de gallo, but then the lime-kiwi sourness bites in. I'm shocked and intrigued that this is appetizing.
T: Follows the nose with subtle cucumber in there. Impressive saltiness and somehow intense jalapeño without the spicy heat of one. How did they create this? Otherwise a tiny lactic funk among otherwise clean sourness, and some cracker malt.
F: Great carbonation and while the mouthfeel is on the order of thin lime juice, the weight and body is there to really satisfy!
O: This is a unique pile of contradictions. I feel like some real science went into making this experience. I will be trying more of the Dyad series.

Poured from 12 oz. can straw-yellow with very thin to no head that vanished almost immediately...aroma is an intense Jalapeno...slightly tart with a little sweetness from the kiwi, cucumber is there but not overwhelming, and no noticeable jalapeno flavor and no heat...thin-bodied with little carbonation. This has a really intriguing combination of f ingredients that yields a complex combination of flavor. My can had no date on it, so I'm not sure if it was old or not. Unlike other reviews I've seen on this site and others mine had no barely there head and almost non-existent carbonation.

A very unique offering that delivers. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with quickly dissapating head and no lacing. Rich nose displays jalapeños and slight funk. Taste is great balance of the ingredients listed on the can with lactic sourness. Body is exceptional and despite the lackluster looks you still get a great carbonation to accompany the big body.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 5/2019. Pours very hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing very quicky. No glass lacing, some clinging bubbles, and streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/sour/tart/tangy kiwis, cucumber, fruit skin/seed, jalapeno, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of kiwi, cucumber, jalapeno, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge juicy/sour/tart/tangy kiwis, cucumber, fruit skin/seed, jalapeno, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tart/sourness, fruit tang, and light pepper spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of sour/tart/tangy kiwis, cucumber, fruit skin/seed, jalapeno, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, apricot, mango, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light peppercorn/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of kiwi, cucumber, jalapeno, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with a fantastic malt/tart/sourness and tangy fruit balance; with zero puckering flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/acidic/tangy, and lightly sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol for 7.5%, with minimal lingering pepper heat after the finish. Overall this is an outstanding fruited/spiced kettle sour. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of kiwi, cucumber, jalapeno, fruity/acidic yeast, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic. Awesome balance of juicy fruits, peppers, and Brett/Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A highly enjoyable offering, and outstanding style example. Not overwhelming on peppers, just the right amount to be noticeable/flavorful.

Hazy straw yellow with a totally still silky surface after the white head quickly dies off.
A really nice juiciness of kiwi-strawberry hits upfront as soft cucumber glides through the middle to a refreshingly toasty charred jalapeno accent. It's not at all spicy, and even kicks up a little bit of cracker before becoming lactic in the frothy medium body that's perfectly tart.
Really uniquely tasty brew here.
