Delicate and deceiving. Fermented with an expressive blend of saison yeast and Brettanomyces. After primary fermentation in red wine oak casks, we racked this spicy rye saison onto over 4lbs per gallon of second use Minnesota grown Meteor, North Star, and Montmorency cherries. Laid down to hibernate in the bottle for over 200 nights. Recommended for spring drinking under a blossoming cherry tree with loved ones.

Tap. Strawberry hued golden color.
Cherry pie from McDonald’s? Cherry saison. Tart, fruity, light citrus, sweet cherries. Light and refreshing. Very enjoyable saison. Cherries accent it well.

Had on tap. Really liking what I have had from Forager, including this fun fruit beer. Smell gets red wine and oak from the underlying barrel, with brett, tart and fried cherry, rye, and belgian yeast. Taste is much the same, very rustic yet light, with more breadiness than expected before hitting the fruit and barrel, pieces surprisingly complimentary. For a fruit beer this has a very complex feel, though on the heavier side for style, so if you like fruit beer for crush-ability you might not love this mouthfeel, this is the beer enthusiast's fruit beer with yeast, wood, vinous, light brett, and tartness.
