Stone fruits blend wonderfully with our wild foraged proprietary strain of brettanomyces. After tasting through our barrel stock we chose two barrels, both were single strain brett saisons which held juicy flavors of peach and mild funk. We then chose nectarines and locally grown apricots from Hoch orchard in Winona for a secondary fermentation. We bottle conditioned this tart, dry fruity saison for 5 months. Keep it cool and pop this bottle over a picnic blanket at the summit of your favorite hike.

Foggy burnt yellow with a fluffy white head settling to a persistent thin blanket and bubbly curled collar reaching out with two arms up the glass.

Starting off as a mildly bretty, slightly funky saison base with some straw, it then becomes tingly and more tart of faint stone fruit. This slowly develops into juicy nectarine and apricot, while also becoming more woody and funky, and almost cheesy, with time. A little dusty walnut and toasted cracker surfaces as it warms.

The medium smooth body has a fine then expanding carbonation finishing semi-dry.

Stoned Love is very nice, easy drinking saison that becomes pleasantly complex with time.
