Grove is a barrel-aged blended imperial stout from bourbon and whiskey barrels which aged for between fifteen and twenty four months. We roasted piles of hazelnuts, toasted mountains of coconut, scraped the caviar from Madagascar, Ugandan and Indonesian vanilla beans and ground fresh Mostra coffee into this dessert style stout. Rich, nutty, mocha flavors swirl with candied coconut and smooth vanilla. Sip this ale alongside your buddies within six months.

Dark brown appearance with a tight tan head, moderate retention and lacing. Hazelnut!, coffee, vanilla, licorice, roasty malt. Medium to thick body, soft carbonation. Decadent!

Coffee overpowers the other adjuncts with a green pepper finish. Vanilla adds body, hazelnut and coconut add just the mildest nuttiness. Another Forager beer that sounds better in the description than it tastes, but all excellent

750 ml bottle poured into a tulip
A- Black with a very small mocha head.
S- Bourbon, coffee, vanilla, chocolate, some hazelnuts, oak, boozy, touch of soy sauce.
T- Bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, hazelnuts, coffee, touch of coconut, slightly boozy.
M- Smooth, creamy, full body.
O- Nose is a little strong/boozy, kind of reminds me some of Dark Lord, but the taste goes in a very different direction and really fits the description on the bottle.

Bottle pour. Black color.
Amazing barrel flavors. Coconut heavy. Nut butter flavors. Hazelnut showing nicely. Chocolate cake batter. Heavy vanilla. Warming bourbon, by far the highlight of the beer. The coffee isn’t super apparent. This is a winner.
