No canning date (served from 32oz crowler)
Pours a completely hazed deep copper orange body topper with a finger and a half of tight, soapy white foam; good head retention yields a half-finger of frothy cap, a moderate, lasting collar, and a chunky layering of dense, webby lacing circling the glass.
Aroma opens with blunt ruby red grapefruit phasing into peach compote and sweet lemongrass; freeze-dried pine accentuates tones of funky earth while a varied display of pineapple pith, wet seaweed, mushy cantaloupe, and weedy sesame wafer highlight the distinct contrasts of sweet and herbal tones throughout the bouquet; a distinct vegetal tone presents on the back end as a flowing white grape juice touches every aspect in between.
Taste brings notes of spiced peach and lemongrass upfront, forming an earthy foundation into mushy strawberry saturating the profile in a balancing fruity sweetness; soggy chamomile offers a powerfully unique herbal touch over the mid-palate as zesty orange peel and tangerine mark the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body of silky consistency and paired with an effortless moderate carbonation; a delicate, creamy texture develops and peaks over the mid-palate, fading steadily into a consistent, vague, and charry hop prickle as an airy acidity meshed with lingering herbal bitterness proceeds past the finish; comprehensively intriguing the palate, yet never becomes overwhelms.
A pleasant, tempered sweetness meets a drying, almost brut-like hop prickle in sync with an earthy amalgam almost incomprehensibly at once; an incredibly unique hop expression, executed with stability and precision throughout as it pushes boundaries of flavor compatibility while remaining a pure, unencumbered experience to drink.
