This oak fermented, mixed-culture saison was aged on organic plums from the Blue Fruit Farm, honeyberries from Honeyberry USA, red raspberries from Lorence’s Berry Farm and cherries from our friend in Northfield, MN. This jammy delight was conditioned on 5.2 pounds of fruit per gallon of saison. Bottle conditioned with rye barrel-aged Minnesota wildflower honey. It was quarantined for months prior to its release. Enjoy this sparkling saison in the great outdoors amongst a large group of people.

The base saison gets a bit lost in the fruits' tartness, which is pleasant enough but I would enjoy a bit more balance. The honey is a nice touch that dries out the finish, making me look for another sip. Good, but something on the mid-palate comes across as diluted for some reason, probably because the base beer doesn't seem to have as much to contribute once the fruity acidity numbs the tongue.

This one has a wonderful fruity/sour bite to it. The mouthful was full, yet the beer was very refreshing. Excellent fruit profile that left me wanting more.

A big thanks to Jeff for this one.
750ml capped bottle into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.
Stunning color and head. Nose is cinnamon, raspberry syrup, candied cherry, macerated red fruit, and a touch of plasticiness. Very aromatic. Beer opens cinnamon and bright red fruit. Super juicy. I get pulped cherry, strawberry, and raspberry in the middle. Seedy with oaky overtones in the end. Puckering finish makes me scalp tingle. This is pretty impressive. Body is medium with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down aggressive and sparkling with a super puckering finish and a lingering, filmy aftertaste.
There's certainly no shortage of fruit in this one and it shows. Pretty fantastic.
