Oxytocin vs. Dopamine pours a very clean, pale color, lots of bubbles, but a small, long lasting head. Aroma is tart, dry, hints of white wine. Flavor is tart and very dry, hints of dandelion, white wine, grapes. Very good body and feel. Overall, fantastic beer, a hint of tart a hint of sweet, farmy like gain notes, some dandelion.

According to the fancy label on the 750 ml bottle, this is a blend of two barrels of mixed culture saisons — one fermented with the brewery’s wild foraged Brett strain and MN hops and grain, the other was a “spelt saison fermented with a blend of bugs from our Daydreaming culture.
Pours a slightly hazy pale golden yellow, 1 finger of pill white head that subsides quickly. Nose is modest barnyard funk, some lemon and juicy grapefruit and sweet floral notes, kind of neutral grainy bready malts. Taste follows, but more bright and deeper flavors…some berries in there, maybe, and the Brett is light but adds a little something nice. Nothing here really stands out as extremely emphatic…it is just a very tasty and well-executed blend.
