A big thanks to Jeff for this one. 750ml capped bottle into a Founders snifter. Shared with schen9303.
Big, 1 finger, foamy white head. Nice, crystal clear goldenrod color. Nose is lemon, citrus, white grape, oak, and wet wood. Aromatic. Beer opens lightly tart lemon zest, peppercorn, and a touch of butter. Some pineapple and citrus in the middle with light oaky notes and a farmhouse funk. End is vinous, white grape and slightly sweet with a dry, tart, champagne finish. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down messy with a linger, dry finish.
Solid. Worth trying.
