Three Threads is a blend of three different barrels of methode traditionelle spontaneous ale brewed in 2018 and 2019. Each barrel possesed varying characteristics which when blended together brought out our signature Minnesota Spontaneous Ale profile. Extended bottle conditioning coaxed aromas of cave aged washed rind Taleggio, Grapefruit rind and peach tea kombucha. Flavors are soft cedar tones with balanced stone fruit acidity and peppery carbonation created with Minnesota Goldenrod honey during bottling.

Bottle. White head. Clear golden color.
Tastes like lambic. Dry, floral hops. Bitter, orange citrus, minerals, wet oak. If I had this blind I’d be surprised to find out this is an American wild ale. Very well done.

Foggy but bright orange with a fluffy off-white soufflé head.
Exhibiting oaky and lactic funk in spades, this is surprisingly old world and deep, made all the more complete by a verdant bitterness and mild acidity. Some pungent, overripe peach even develops as it warms.
Okay Forager, holding your own at Funk Factory. Wow!
