This sour is a play on a traditional Flanders Red Ale. We kettle soured this using traditional souring methods. We added dark Belgian candi sugar, sweet orange peel and cherry. Those combined deliver a rich ruby color and flavors of orange, cherry and red wine. Aromas are similar plus the acidity from the kettle souring process.
