Poured a blackish body with minimal head and lace. The aroma contains bits of yeast, nay funk, but is largely a roasted malt aroma with bits of coffee for some reason. Fuller bodied and smooth thanks to yeast, yet no other characteristics that remind one of a saison as beer has a roasted, possible burnt, malt taste with hints of bitter chocolate/coffee/dark fruits for dry/sweet notes here and there. Not well balanced nor much of a flavor profile in this beer b/c the malts just overpower everything and don't mesh.
