Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a cloudy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits. Taste is pineapple, grapefruit, guava. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a pretty good beer.

Another good NE IPA. Purchased a 16 oz can at The Casual pint in Va Beach Va. Pours a hazy dark gold/light amber color (darker than most NE IPAs). Big foamy head with excelent retention and thick bands of lacing. A good looking beer, Aroma and flavor are spot on for a NE IPA. Moderate bitterness, dank and earthy and plenty of citrus hops - orange, pineapple and some tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is rich and inviting, with moderate bitterness and a fairly crisp finish. A lot of NE IPAs are kind of indistinguishable from each other but still good!!!! This one falls into that category!!!!

Canned on 7/24/19
Pours a hazy dark gold with a fluffy head of white foam; decent retention leads to a froth cap and smattering of thin lacing.
Aromas of tangerine intertwine with bits of cream as tropical tones of pineapple, tart guava and orange all fading over time.
Taste is largely toned-down, opening with dank pineapple, guava, and tropical fruit rind before embracing a stiff herbaceousness from the mid-palate to the finish; not bad necessarily, just very subdued.
Mouthfeel brings a light-medium body with lower carbonation which continues to flatten out while a juicy character becomes more pronounced into a quick finish.
Drinkable, but quick, overly simple, and never really builds to much. Not bad by any stretch, but weak, almost like it wasn't stored properly before it got to me (which is always plausible).

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a pint glass. Had a yellow-orange color and a super cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Excellent lacing.
S: A very good aroma of hops, tropical fruit, malt, citrus fruit, and a slightly earthy quality.
T: Tasted of a little bit of malt (mostly in the finish), a good shot of tropical fruit (pineapple, mango), some citrus fruit (grapefruit, in particular), a bit of the earthiness, and a decent amount of hops. This is a focused, well-balanced, easy to like flavor. It seems to have just the right amount of hops and fruit. Not groundbreaking, but certainly tasty.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a slightly dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A rock solid, enjoyable IPA. Worth a look.

A: Pours an extremely murky medium golden orange in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising along the edges of the glass and moderate golden apricot + orange + pale golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a medium to large sized patch of medium thick film surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/pineapple, citrus/grapefruit, and tropical/melon with a light to moderate aroma of herbal hops. Light to moderate aromas of biscuit + oat + honey malts with a light amount of honey sweetness.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit + oat + honey malts with a light amount of honey sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of juicy tropical/mango, tropical/pineapple, citrus/grapefruit, and tropical/melon with a light to moderate flavor of herbal hops. The hops contribute a hint of bitterness which fades away quickly leaving lingering tropical + citrus hop flavors.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Soft, almost fluffy with a light to moderate amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable with a pleasantly soft/fluffy mouthfeel and enjoyable hop profile.

POUR: From a can into a nonic pint. APPEARANCE: Deep orange to bronze in color. Very cloudy/ hazy with substantial sediment. Thick and rocky off-color head with a fair amount of glass lacing. AROMA: Dank hoppy aroma. Citrus. Slight earthy elements...grass and cannabis. TASTE: Follows the nose. Dank and earthy. Grass and cannabis. AFTERTASTE: Oily and resinous feel. Slight burn and warmth on the back end. Onion-like notes as well. NOTES: Interesting warmth and slight burn on the back end yet clocking in at 6.5% ABV. REVIEW/ RATING: Good/ 3 out of 5.
