No canning date (released on 4/16/22, so presumably canned within a few days of that date); consumed on 9/13/22
Pours a viscous, jet-brown hue capped with ¾ of a finger of pale hazelnut-tinged foam; sub-par head retention leaves an almost entirely blank surface, slight, frothy collar, and a sparse, temporary spread of soapy lacing.
Aroma highlights chunky peanut butter cups and a light roast upfront, with a slight mineralic tinge grazing the airy whipped lactose undertone building toward cheesecake and flaky graham cracker.
Taste opens to chunky peanut butter and a firm cocoa backdrop; a cheesecake inflection sweetens an otherwise charry graham cracker lingering, ultimately peaking with a wispy roast fading through the finish.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body and a lower-end carbonation, densely textured and silky, with a semi-creamy mid-palate trending somewhat sticky as a slightly drying roast lingers through the back end.
Heavy and sweet, a weird, wispy minerality plays interference with the more steadily defined peanut butter and cheesecake elements; minimal roast, though not entirely saccharine.
