Pours a hazy, cloudy orange with a finger of white head. Fair retention and great lacing. Aroma is citrus, pine, resin, juice, with just a glimpse of the base pilsner malts. Flavor profile is toast, orange peel, and pine. Unfortunately, the toast note is quickly accompanied by a cardboard-like taste. Fortunately, it only lasts a brief moment. Mouth feel is medium in thickness, with a smooth, filling texture. Overall, a really nice hoppy lager. The base imperial pilsner is muddled quite a bit, and the hop notes don't shine through quite as bright in the flavor profile as they do in the aroma, but it is stlll a tasty and interesting beer.
