750 mL bottle opens with a whoosh! & pours an effervescent gold with a sliver of beige colored head. Some head retention & no lacing
S: Some pear & mown hay notes, was hoping for a better nose
T: Faint juicyfruit notes, grassyness, pears, grapefruit, dryness & a touch of lemon up front. Grainyness, pears, dryness as this warms, along with grassy notes & white pepper & a little white grape. Finishes dry, grassy, grainy with a kiss of white pepper & yeast
MF: Delicate carbonation, medium body
Nice take on the style, very drinkable. Boulevard rarely screws up a Saison & this is just more validation of their skills

Clear golden color with a substantial ivory head that sticks around and continues producing nice lacing all the way down.
The aroma is light caramel, citrus, cloves, pine and white pepper.
The taste is caramel malt, grapefruit, lemon, cloves, allspice, pepper and pine resin. Plenty of yeasty funk. The finish is fairly dry with a lingering peppery pine resin aftertaste.
The body is medium, very smooth and drinkable with decent carbonation to the last.
Altogether this a very nice example of farmhouse ale/saison, goes well with most food, great for just enjoying anytime.

750ml bottle. Poured out a clear golden amber color with a large, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of yeast, lemon, spices and sweet caramel. Nice spicy, funky taste with caramel, light toffee and a yeasty kick.
