16 oz. can dated 6/20/17 poured into Teku glass.

L: 2F head with good retention, leaves some lacing and a cap and ring. Beer is a mostly clear golden.

S: Strong ginger, citrus and sour yeast.

T: Zippy orange, orange zest, ginger, and grapefruit up front. A bit of malt and sour yeast in the middle to the back end. Pretty simple Saison-like beer and, most important, it tastes good. Finish is slightly sour.

F: Light bodied, medium carbonation. Quite crisp and refreshing, drinks very well and is well-balanced.

O: Nicely-done saison, and great for summer. As long as you like ginger, which I do.

Pours a hazy light orange color with a finger of bright white head. The head has very little retention and leaves a minimal amount of lacing.

The aroma is absolutely loaded with ginger and citrus. It smells like lemon ginger snaps. There's also plenty of grass and a touch of funk. The back end is spicy and yeasty with the faintest hint of citrusy hops.

The taste follows the nose. Sugary ginger snaps and citrus, followed by spicy yeast and a ton of hops.

The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamier and smoother than normal for the style, but still dry and very refreshing.

Overall, an interesting and tasty saison. The ginger is a nice touch as well.
