16oz can from Half Time. Hazy yellow pour, one finger sturdy white head. Light citrusy aroma with grassy, floral notes. Taste brings lemon, tangerine, hay, grassy flavors and finishes with a dry mellow bite. Smooth and unassuming, but the flavor lingers.

Pours pale yellow gold, very cloudy to opaque with a one finger white head. Aroma is gentle, light and refreshing tangerine and stone fruit tanginess. Flavor is similar, rich but not overbearing with a nice blend of tangerine and white peach. Really pleasant. Feel is lightly soft and refreshing, low bitterness. This is just a fantastic, fresh and light tasting beer

Pint can - no date - poured into an ale tulip at 38°F
Pours a fairly hazy pale orange-yellow, topped with two fingers of sudsy white head with okay retention. Occasional visible floater, no visible effervescence.
Nose: Aromas of papaya, gooseberry, nectarine, and melon definitely the primary profile, with lesser notes of lemon-lime, orange, and kiwi in the background, and just a faint earthy grassy note tying it all together.
Palate: Citrus heavy greeting with orange, orange-cream, mango, unripe melon, gooseberry, guava, and some green grassiness. As it progresses, there's a slight overripe tropical fruit character with a touch of mango. Towards the back end, there's some pithy citrus rind, and a herbal bitterness. There's also a creaminess about it, underneath the pale malt, it could be from oats, or there could be a touch of lactose in here. Either way, it still works.
Mouthfeel/Body: Medium-bodied - crisp, but a bit of creaminess as well. It thickens on the palate, gaining a touch of viscosity, before drying out into a pithy, almost chalky finish. Effervescence isn't particularly lively, but it isn't lacking.
Overall: This isn't the worst of the Aslin bunch I've recently tried. No, not at all. It's a good beer, don't get me wrong - it's just incredibly unremarkable. I couldn't pick this out of a crowd of 20 NEIPAs. It's good, abd there's a reason these beera work, but it lacks any and all unique, identifying traits. A very good, very average, blend-in-with-the-crowd hazy IPA.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a muffin top, taster pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a hazy, lemony yellow, basically the color (and look) of pulpy, white grapefruit juice, with exuberant head formation leaving much more than a rim and sticky, foamy rings of lacing all the way down the glass.
S: Aromas initially more white grapefruit, orange, and somewhat unripened nectarine, but giving way quickly to a very strong lemon fruit with a touch of toast (I thought).
T: More semidry than semisweet. Lemon citrus and (very light) pine. Bitterness moderate and subtle, leaving a very clean finish.
M: Light bodied with strongly persistent effervescence. Tingly (almost not quite) minty mouthfeel.
O: A truly delicious, light, subtly complex, lemon chiffon American IPA. Truly excellent concoction and would be just right for summer (if we get to have one).

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
T: Moderate aromas of lychee are present in the nose along with hints of lyme.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of lychee along with notes of stone fruit and hints of lime and pear. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is quite juicy and has a lot of interesting flavors, which seem to be more pronounced given the lack of bitterness in the taste. It is quite easy to drink.

Can:
Uniformly cloudy pineapple/peach juice witha nice meringue foam top of over a finger. Lacing is heavy up front.
Nose is pineapple, tangerine, and clementine orange - a nice fresh aroma in this beer that I didn't get in my first can (so this is a nice little surprise). There's a little bit of of sweet note, and some wet wood that reminds me of the last few licks of a tropical popsicle stick.
Taste starts with the sweet malt with a more generic tropical flavor. There's a flavor that leans towards overripe fruit, but is corralled by an oat and woody bitterness. The bitterness outlasts it all, lingering lightly in the back of the throat. Medium heft but with enough carbonation and a slightly thin feel keep it from being too smooth.
Save for the nose (this time), a typically fine Aslin regular IPA, but not in the echelon with their best beers.

Ugly. Ugly for a NEIPA. Hop aroma is juicy and citrusy with some piney notes, but the taste hop profile leans towards that of a slightly citrusy czech pilsner.
