A - Dark brown pour with caramel colored lacing that's really thick.
S - Brown sugar, roasted caramel, and molasses on the nose.
T - Brown sugar, molasses, dark roasted caramel, and alot of booziness
M - Big and thick on the mouthfeel that's silky smooth.
O - This 'Barley accents the roasted caramel and molasses. Definitely worth seeking!

Surprisingly large head for a barleywine, had to sip foam off the top after a rigorous pour since I dint typically expect a ton of carb from a barleywine. Foam was a delightful was of caramel like sipping the froth of a caramel macchiato.
Nose is a bit of caramelized burnt sugar, sweet booziness, bit of vanilla, maybe almond. Not a ton going on but it does smell delicious.
Taste is beautifully sweet, I've had a couple bitter medicinal barleywines lately and this is a pleasant departure. Salted caramel for sure comes through, a little vanilla, not getting any nutella. Nice sticky residue on the lips.
Chocolatey-hazelnut makes an appearance on the finish. Not a trace of booze even as it warms, I'd guess this was a 7% beer, when in reality it's nearly double that.
Nice full mouthfeel with a pretty fluffy carb. Not the thickest beer but undeniably full-feeling, really digging what's going on here.
I was really looking forward to a salted caramel barleywine and even with high expectations this blew me away. Even better than I thought, suffers none of the medicinal bitter qualities some barleywines aim for, plenty sweet but remains complex and the adjuncts shine through clearly. Outstanding stuff
