500ML bottle with a pretty hefty price tag. Split with my wife because, 16.5% ABV/Wednesday night/advancing age.
The pour is dead black with no head even with a hard pour. One whiff & I feel like I’m going to be blowing mint out my nose all day tomorrow.
Dover is a hard miss. Vanilla, stout & then a snowplow full of mint splayed all over the palate & drowning everything good in life. Minty hint of bourbon on the finish.
Fuck-all this isn’t good & I like mint. I eat a bag of York’s a week, love mint juleps heck, I’d chew on mint leaves if it was socially acceptable. This sucks.

The beer pours very little head even after a slightly hard pour. The beer itself is a good dark chocolate brown with a syrupy texture to it.
The smell is very indulgent. It, well, smells like a mint oreo with a slightly stronger mint note in the smell. It has good sugary chocolate notes and cocoa with a good moderate vanilla running through it all. There does not seem to be any alcohol note at all.
The taste overall is pretty good. It has that exact same oreo and distinct mint note found in the smell but better blended. The vanilla is present through it all and helps the other notes blend well with each other.
The fee is pretty good. It has a pretty heavy body with a fairly sticky feel to it and a bit of thickness as it goes down.
Overall, it was a pretty good beer even if it was a bit simple, yet well blended.
