I had a 16 oz. can with dinner at the Mercury Cafe in New Castle, DE. It was their rotating IPA - lucky for me! I loved this beer. Poured into a pint glass with great yellow orange coloring. The look and taste are much more like a NEIPA even though the can says West Coast. I got more hops than malt, but that worked for me. I will definitely be looking for more from Aslin here in Delaware.

I tried a half pour of this beer off the tapper at the brewery whilst in Pittsburgh for work. It poured a slightly hazy golden with thin white ring head that is leaving some lace. The scent had bold citrus notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with supper citrusy presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

6 oz draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. Appearance is a clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma and flavor feature clean malt with citrus, pine, and a hint of tropical fruit. Mouthfeel is well-carbonated and not boozy. Overall, an excellent American IPA.

A pour that emptied the entire contents of a pint can into a clear glass liter mug displayed a rather typical looking West Coast IPA. The brew is lightly golden-amber, bright and somewhat translucent. There was a modest just-off-white head that has receded. Although not particularly aromatic, there's an inviting pine and/or resinous aspect to the aroma that's there. A whiff of malt is harder to find. The taste is such, toward the piney side, without much of a sweet malty counterbalance. There's nothing that shouldn't be expected from the style. The hops bite is almost hard enough and it's never overly bitter, even during the finish. The body is acceptable for the style, or a little thin for a traditional IPA. This is representative of its category without going beyond to any notable measure. Devotees of more assertive WCIPAs may find this comes up a little short of a good hop bite. However, it's pleasant enough and provides just enough taste to be acceptable.

On tap upper west side nyc. Golden color and lacing in pint glass. Faint fruit aroma. Nicely crisp and hoppy. It’s Fall but seems like a perfect summer IPA.
