Pours a cloudy pale yellow with decent white head, meh retention and lacing. The aroma has bright fruitiness up front. Lemon zest, white bread, round earthy spice underneath it all. Really interesting. Flavor follows with earthy, slightly tart, slightly vegetal body to it and some lingering malt/yeastiness on the palate. Relatively dry but a little flabby, moderate carbonation. This is a tasty and interesting beer. Both of the "wacky" ingredients come through in a complimentary way and blend together pretty nicely. It is not super saisony, but was drinkable enough and a fun taste journey.
