Pours a murky dark yellow with a thinnish layer of head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is pine and resin, with perhaps a hint of citrus. Taste is nearly that of an Imperial; lots of bittering hops and lemon orange. A favorite in this part of the country.

Received a can from a friend 5-26-22. Surprised to see the can date of 7-7-20; consumed 7-17-22.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with a very nice white head that has some hang time surprisingly.
Nose comes across very sweet, almost candy like. Orange and berry forward, very odd for a pale ale.
Taste follows the nose with a light malt base that is flavored with orange, strawberry, and kiwi. Finishes sweet; 3/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and refreshing.
Overall can see the potential of this being good if it were fresh.

thanks to my neighbor, Lenny, for giving me a 4 pack!
L: opaque pineapple-orange juice look; foamy off-white head holds good retention
S: floral tropical fruit, taffy, cotton candy, coconut
T: very unique; floral tangerine, papaya, cotton candy, taffy, coconut, pineapple, lactose, vanilla
F: creamy & full body, sweet yet slightly tart, soft carbonation
O: very unique beer. I can’t seem to find anything that says it is a milkshake type IPA, but I am getting that vibe. Interesting flavors and complexity that meld very well together

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, WI. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had orange whip/tangerine creme notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with orange creme flare. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

thick haze of a mellow marigold body with a near-milky color character pours with a fluffy foamed white head that has low retention but leaves moderate patchy bubbled lacing as it settles to a halo
smells of vanilla, floral mellow citrus hop, and a pinch of lacto-minded slight funk that layers up the sweetness that is reminiscent of dragon fruit. pungent, floral, and alcoholic. near-daiquiri.
taste follows that straight up. vanilla leaning with mellow floral citrus with a dash of bitterness and a mild lacto funk that blends right in with the citrus layers. hop is there but not heavy. nothing is heavy here, really. very cloud-like
b
feel is fairly high carbonation with smooth feeling medium body, and a slightly dry bittersweet finish that hangs heaviest on the tongue.
overall:
while this is certainly a stones throw from "heavy" this brew is very "full" feeling for only 5.5% abv.
the complexity and flavor packed into that small space has one rethink economic taste-building for sure,
i think they nailed what they were aiming for in a fluffy tropic that doesn't skimp out on hop dosage. a lack of malt backbone, however, leaves this one feeling a little anchorless in my personal notes. but is absolutely noteworthy nonetheless.

Found this a new liquor store near my house recently. Always excited to try new stuff.
Pours an opaque, hazy dark straw color. Almost milky looking. Really nice lace. The nose is heavy with vanilla with some citrus and passionfruit scents mixed in. It's a nice aroma, but not what I was expecting. Kind of a pungent sweetness in the taste that I'm not sure I'm crazy about, but there is enough complexity here that surprises me. The vanilla presence continues into the taste as well, which I like in a weird way, and plays off of an odd assortment of fruits like pineapple, mango, passionfruit, maybe some faint lime. Mouthfeel is crisp and dry but not hoppy.
Overall, I like my IPAs hoppy with more pine and resin, but this is a totally interesting beer. It could be the Galaxy hops that are so assertive but I feel there is more to this beer than meets the eye. I'd revisit this in the future. Cheers.

Galaxy can be very hit or miss for me, so perhaps my experience was tied to that. But I get a lactose sweetness in this beer (in a bad way) that I just can’t get past, as it makes for a tropical daiquiri flavor profile that isn’t what I’m looking for in an IPA. It’s a good looking beer, and very flavorful and substantive for 5.5%, which I appreciate. But the overall experience is tarnished for me because of the artificial, overripe fruit sweetness that overwhelms my palate.

A: This beer looks great in a tulip glass -- opaque bright orange-yellow with a cream white head.
S: Sugary pineapple and other sweet fruits.
T: Very similar to the nose... sweet pineapple/mango, papaya nectar, juicy peach. It's kinda unexpected but really sweet and juicy. Finishes with sweet mango.
M: Not too light, has a good body to it.
O: This is interesting in that it's sweeter than I expected, like sugar has been added. Yet juicy fruits still come through to balance out that sweetness. The consistency pretty much follows that 5.5% abv feel which makes it light and easier to drink - I couldn't imagine the DIPA version of this (maybe very good? Hmmm...). Great job overall.

Pours a murk hazy pale orange color with a thumb sized off white head. Falls to ringed scum with great lace.
Aroma is pineapple. orange, good fruity notes sweet and creamy almost like lactose even though its not there.
Taste is wow creamy lots of orange, pineapple lingering vanilla with some grapefruit bitterness that jumps out in the finish. Malt base is weird seems to creamy for the 5.5% almost sugar cookie like. It is almost like an orange creamsicle. Strange like to know the ingredients for this one.
Mouthfeel is medium but creamy some how with mostly mellow carbonation except for the kick in the finish.
Overall I like it its different, not sure I would fell the same after a 6 pack but it has me wanting to try it again.

A new brewery for me, and I hope this is representative of their other offerings. Opaque orange/gold color with nice head that recedes very slowly. Nice lacing, too. Aroma and flavor are vanilla (!) and tropical fruit. A little unusual but very tasty. Bitterness is low. Moderate body. All in all, really enjoyable and particularly well done at only 5.5% abv.
