a robustly hopped india pale lager here, nice beer from these guys, who seem to be making better and better liquid each time i dabble. this one is done with mosaic and equinox hops, is juicy without being overdone, and has a ton of flavor for how drinkable it is, really pretty well made. its sunny colored and clear, with an average white head from the tap and quite a lot of visible carbonation. the aroma and flavor show sweet orange, mango, and even passion fruit notes, mandarin oranges from the can too, fresh and with some bitterness. i am surprised how much bitterness this finishes with, definitely well into the ipl range, but it doesnt slow down the drinkability for me, even though this has just a little body to it, the whole thing is fresh and agile and quenching, and it warms up pretty well. i get very little from the yeast though, no taste of lager yeast, and dry as this is, its presence really is tough to appreciate. it seems patiently fermented though and is crisp on the grain side, clearing space for the bright hoppy finish. modern and good, more summer than winter, they should keep this one in the lineup!
