Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 750 ml bottle on March 19, 2017. Brewed 012317. Bottled 021317. Fresh by 032717. Look is extremely hazy orange gold with a medium off-white head and sticky lacing.

Interesting scent in that it's quite muted, slightly fruity and sweet lemon is what I get along with a slight citric IPA character. This has a quite interesting flavor. Sweet and tart and quite unlike any IPA I've had but it's good. Seems low on bitterness. Well carbonated and medium in build with a bit of heat on this beer.

L - pours a lazy sunset orange haze that quickly settles into something deeper and darker. Ominous. Foreboding!
S - lot of unique and interesting aromas. Orange and lemon candy intertwined with the pith of each. There is a subtle fruit candy quality. Fruit roll-ups in particular. Ah ha! Peanut butter! Salted peanuts.
T - strong sugary sweet lemon candy. Was hoping for more PB! Tangy and grainy. Earthy, mealy, cereal wheat. Hints of pineapple and wet, dingy earth. Loads of sugar, almost feels similar to Transient Juice Is Loose. Booze definitely creeps through as it warms.
F - feels like the dying embers of a fire. Strange, I know. Soft, glowing flavors and a decadent, sugar-filled mouthfeel.
O - still can't shake that peanut butter in the nose. Striking. This is a mellow and low-key beer that will sneak up on you. Sugary flavor and feel make this a fine dessert brew.
