Poured from a 16oz can, canned on 3/19/19, fresh by 5/19/19. Drunk on 6/16/19.
This is a boozy mess. I did not enjoy. Alcohol overpowered all other flavors, which is a bit surprising since it is only 8.5%. I realize that I had this past the fresh by date. Perhaps it wasn’t cared for properly throughout the distribution process but if a beer can’t hold up for more than 60 days, maybe it shouldn’t be shipped out of state?

Hazy, peach-like hue to the body; thick, lasting head; frothy. Light citrus aroma; grapefruit and orange. Biscuit and intense bitterness are the core tastes; citrus rind. Heavy body; dense and velvety on the palate; very dry mouthfeel throughout.
This beer delivers a strong hop bitterness smack to the taste buds. Maybe a bit one-sided with the bitterness, but some of us appreciate a good tongue-ripping IPA.
