16 oz can poured into a shaker.
Appearance
Hazed-out gold. Short creamy white head.
Nose
Grapefruit, caramel, Tootsie Roll, pine, florals, lemon, melon, and candy sugar.
Taste
Grapefruit, zesty florals, and earth. Caramel, Tootsie Roll, pine, honeydew melon, and slight lemon pith. Candy sugar and zest linger.
Mouthfeel
Medium-plus bodied, smooth, oily, semi-dry, and moderately bitter.
Overall
Zesty, earthy, and dry. A bit malt forward with flavors of caramel and Tootsie Roll, but overall a pleasant combination.

This is our first IIPA from Hubbard's Cave.
Appearance - we used small glasses and it appeared as a hazy yellow to a slightly darker yellow.
Smell - we disagreed with the smell. She had a boozie hint, where as I smelt a more floral scent.
Taste - a strong floral flavor at first with a bitter after taste.
Mouthfeel - slightly refreshing at first with a dry aftertaste.
Overall - as far as IIPA's go I wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed it not being over strong on the taste or flavor. I would definitely buy again.

Poured from a 16 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Thick opaque golden juice pour with big fluffy white head. Outstanding lacing.
S: Sharp and crisp. Citrus and fruit.
T.F: Grapefruit, citrus rind, and pineapple. Tropical mango and passionfruit. Packing more bitterness than the typical NEIPA... well balanced, juicy, and delicious. Beautifully complex... super drinkable, and hides the ABV it's packing behind the fruit. Sticky and thick on the tongue.
O: This is an outstanding big IPA. Love how the bitterness compliments the fruit/juice. One to pick up again.
