Decanted from a 16 oz (355 ml) can into a Broken Bow Brewery pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a cloudy, yellow-orange color with a one finger, off-white head, rim retention, and rings of fairly limited, short lived lacing.
S: Aromas of pineapple, mango, and white grapefruit, as well as a caramel core initially, but give way to a more chemical (acetone) taste.
T: Semidry. Flavors a melange of the aromas initially, although more white grapefruit initially again giving rise to a more chemical flavor, like white grapefruit zest but not as pleasant (a bit stale). Strong, frankly excessive bitterness in the overall picture.
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: I have had plenty of Imperial IPAs and only a handful have had this kind of unpleasant, chemical flavor. Not impressed.

Canned April 21, 2020
Pours a hazy dark yellow with a finger of white rocky head. It quickly dissipates. Spots of lacing appear on the side of the glass.
Nose is different. Very interesting. Nose is citrus and white grape. Smell is fresh despite this cans mild age. Strong fruit scents. Unique. I like it.
Taste follows this train of logic. Mild citrus, along the likes of tangerine. And white grape is there, but tart and bitter. Not that overwhelming bitterness that many IPA's have, but that natural fruit bitter tinge. There is a touch of a floral, perfume quality as well hiding somewhere underneath.
Mouthfeel excels. Fullbodied, but not heavy. Smooth. Very mild carbonation.
This is a great IPA. I love when they can pierce the veil and make something different than all of the uniform brews that are in rotation. Not overly bitter, has a nice tartness, reminds me of fresh fruit. This would flourish with a savory dinner.

A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface that never completely faded away.
S: Moderate flavors of gooseberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of gooseberries and limes along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is packed with lots of juicy flavors of gooseberries and limes.
