16oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of tropical fruit, pine and toasted caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel, toffee and a bitter piney bitterness.

16 oz. Can

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, melon, peach, nectarine, papaya), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, melon, peach, nectarine, papaya), very nice diesel like, very nice sweetness. Full Body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very nice brew. A very easy drinker at 10%. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Glad to have a chance to try it.

Look: Color is a beautiful hazy amber with a tall white frothy head that lasted quite a while. Layers of sticky foam fingers of lace on the sides that hang forever.
Smell and Taste: This IPA leans to the sweeter side with notes of orange zest.
Feel: Not sure how Une Annee got all that foaminess without it being a seltzer like brew but they mastered it. Goes down smooth with a heaviness that's probably associated with the 10% ABV.
Overall: The name should be translated into a Triple Double IPA? I think so. This is an excellent Beer that is very easy to drink.

Even with a turbulent pour, head production is limited, with 1/4 finger (at most) of off-white foam. Retention is lacking. During the pour, the body doesn't seem overly hazy, and a surface glance suggests it's fairly clear ... but in totality, once settled into the glass, the body is almost entirely opaque, and nearly hazy. Dark orange color.

Aroma is quite pleasant and smooth, with citrus leading the way, followed by pine, resin, and herbs, and tropical notes a distant (but still present) third.

Immediately on the palate, this is sweet, thick, hoppy, and lacking bitterness. There's a dank and herbal finish that almost replicates the bitterness of yore - but not quite. Huge notes of melon and mango on the long oily finish. Peach is prominent, along with lemon, mandarin orange, and papaya. Super juicy, and a wonderful marriage of the hop profile with the high ABV malt base. Somehow avoids being overly syrupy, although it is a touch hot. Still, for 10% ABV, this is damn dangerously drinkable (triple D!).
