Milkshake IIPA brewed with Mosaic hops, lactose, vanilla, guava, and passion fruit, and it tastes even better than it sounds. Our latest extension of this series is just in time for warm weather and our hornets are buzzing with excitement.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy yellow/orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves a pretty nice small island, and some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, guava, passionfruit, mango, peach, apricot), pretty nice touch of vanilla bean, tangy/kinda tart, pretty nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, guava, passionfruit, mango, peach, apricot), pretty nice touch of vanilla bean, tangy/kinda tart, pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty nice beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here. A nice take on the style.

Little to no head after poured into a pint glass
Thick dark gold pour with immediate scents of guava and tropical fruit.
Mouth feel is equally thick with an almost syrupy texture
Sharp tart notes followed by sweet guava and passion fruit flavors all wrapped up in a slight bitterness. Not as bitter as other imperials I have had.

Good head production and retention. Body is opaque and pulpy, and a lovely dark orange hue.

Nose is absolutely swimming in guava. It's sweet, slightly earthy, just a touch tart. Additional notes of mango, cream, vanilla, and passionfruit.

Low but not completely absent bitterness on the palate; fruity but not sour. Guava is the real star, with its inimitable flavor blend of sweetness, light tartness, and mildly pungent earthiness. It doesn't dominate, though, leaving room for the softer passionfruit and some lightly green herbal notes from the hops.

A bit watery given the imperial strength ABV and "milkshake" nature of the beer, but it's lively and goes down very easily - almost too easy. Semi-dry finish despite the fruit additions.
