Copenhagen 27/6 2023. 47,3 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Steel can with a label with a close up of Hop flowers in abundance.
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as lumpy and uneven layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a more subdued scent of citrus fruit. Sweet peach and mango. Light whiff of grapefruits.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft and almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Pretty light and fairly bitter take on a DIPA.

On tap at The Brass Tap, Cedar Falls. IA. Served in a snifter.
Hazy pale yellow colored pour, with a thick white head that left sheets of lacing. Huge aromas and of straight-up grapefruit juice greet you. Grapefruit, citrus zest, orange, and tropical fruit on the nose and palate. Very juicy, with fantastic zesty bitterness all the way to the finish. Outstanding beer, and an excellent pairing with spicy food.

Dark orange/gold hues, fluffy long lasting head and lacing. Tropical fruit scents-I’m not super familiar with them, but I’m thinking of stone fruit and guava. Taste is hoppy-slightly bitter, slightly juicy. A bit of a dry finish, medium bodied, subtle booze presence. Not bad, not as juicy as I expected from a beer with the word “tropical.”
