Please note that I am not a fan of pumpkin beer so I am rating this based off brewers intentions and not my personal taste. The beer poured a hazy brown with white head and spotty lace. The scent had pumpkin and spice with hints of walnut. The taste flowed the scent closely...was surprised by the presence of walnut. The mouthfeel was fuller in body with smooth carbonation. Overall I thought the beer was cool cuz it hit the pumpkin walnut mark.

all of the beer here at corridor is excellent, but this is something so special right here, oh man. a pumpkin and walnut saison, and its awesome. normally walnuts add some weird aroma and flavor beyond earthy nuttiness that i dont always dig. like a damp basement sometimes, its not really my favorite most of the time. in this case though, its like they were toasted first or something, its warming and complimentary. maybe its the way it works with the pumpkin that i like so much. squashy and a little sweet, but no real fall spices, no brown sugar or anything, its just the bounty of the season, and the two go together so well. you would think they would favor a base beer like a brown ale too, and that something like this would be weird in a saison, but thats just not the case. the yeast is funky and french tasting, white wine notes and fruitiness without the acidity. works with both the special ingredients, and the combination of all of it together is just insane. never had anything quite like it, and it might take the cake for my favorite fall beer of the year (even though its winter now). love love love.
