Grabbed a can of this on a recent trip to Trader Joe’s after seeing it in stores for the first time. I liked the base Over the Line Lager, giving it a 3.95 on June 24, 2018. Back of the can read, “This beer is dedicated to all the bat swinging, sand lovin’, beer drinkin’ people that embody the spirt of San Diego’s favorite pastime; our beloved Over-the-Line Tournament. Poured a medium yellow-to-gold clear color with six fingers of rocky white head, which thinned out fairly quickly. Could see plenty of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)

Really liked the smell from the get-go. Got lime juice, citrus zest, dish soap, Noble hops and some lingering sweet grain. Much of the same from the can. Really had me wanting to try it. (Smell - 4.50)

Tasted lime juice, citrus zest, dish soap, Noble hops, grass, lingering peppery spice, sweet grain, corn cereal and dry barley. (Taste - 4.25)

Light body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, citrusy finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Wow. Was surprised at how much I liked this one. Excellent for the style and certainly the best of these lime lagers I’ve tried. (Overall - 4.25)
