On tap at the Big Chill Beach Club, Bethany Beach, DE.
Pours a golden color with a touch of amber and mostly clear. A modest splash of sudsy head retains decently.
The coconut aroma is subtle but evident throughout. Complimentary aromas include sweet grass, a touch of pineapple and bready malt.
The taste predictably features flavors of coconut amidst bready malts and a touch of caramel malts. To its credit, the coconut does not overpower, instead, it compliments what feels like a clean flavored pale ale. The taste has a moderate sweetness overall, with a touch of piny hops providing balance.
Light to medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Gently carbonated and easy to drink.
Nothing earth shattering for me but pleasant for light summer drinking.

12 oz can.
Looks great on the pour with its light amber color and large, frothy white head. Great clarity but there was a small amount of yeast at the bottom of the cans, which clouds things up if it gets in there.
Both the aroma and taste were very mild. Faint grainy malts, some wheat, and very light coconut that I probably wouldn't have been able to pick out if I didn't know it was in the beer. Light floral hops.
Clean and smooth finish, a little on the sweet side, but lacking character. Overall, it was drinkable enough but fairly insipid.

This is a Cali style coconut ale. I tasted more coconut coming through, much more than DFH lumpia luau This beer was nice, hoppy, but with a low carbonation and no head. I also like my beer served cold of which they were not at this time.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a dark golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is mild, some coconut. Taste is also mild, grains, light coconut, hints of wheat. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, this beer is on the bland side and mediocre at best.
