Wasn't sure what to expect, but pours a pale golden colour with a faint cranberry nose. Taste is very watery with a cranberry taste, this is almost like a spritzer.

Looks like a rosé and the flavor is dominated by anything else in the vicinity.

Alaska Cranberry Tart
Pink with minimal lacing. Smells pungent - acerbic, dry slightly piney.
Taste is a lot less tart than I expected. Slightly sweet faint berry. Finish is dryish. A bit watery. Medium carb. Easy to drink. Overall is disappointing as based on labeling expectations ‘tart’. Appearance and smell are the high points. It’s just not very tart at all.

Poured into a 16 oz glass, little head and lacing. Looks enticing: not really amber, not really red-ish, just light amber red-ish. Looks to have good carbonation, small bubbles. Not much on the nose. Very slight hint of cranberry, barely registering on the tartness and any sort of fruit tones. Taste is the same, actually kinda bland. Good carbonation indeed but so slight on the fruit/tart taste it's really not worth it to me. Almost like a half-flavored seltzer water. I wouldn't get it again....

Bottle from Albertsons. Light amber pour, bubbly head dissipates to miniscule ring. Aroma is tart, yeasty funk with some cranberry notes. Taste is mildly tart, weak cranberry and no sign of the spruce tips.

Bottle poured into an Alaskan Brewing Pilot Series pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a faint pinkish hue and a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Slightly tart, cranberry and a little raspberry, the slightest hint of spruce, a touch of wheat, and some caramel sweetness.
T: Slightly tart but not very, fruity, cranberry and also some raspberry, just a bit earthy, faint hints of spruce, a little wheat twang, and a fair bit of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Really could stand to be more tart to balance all that sweetness. They could probably dial the cranberry and especially the spruce tips up a notch to make that happen.
