From a crowler into a Fin Du Monde tulip, looks fantastic...kind of a deep maroonish brown, not much head or lacing. Nose and taste bring a whole lot of rye, as promised....it is juicy and earthy and full and a little flat...not sweet (thankfully) and unlike some of my other favorites that feature rye, not much in the way of citrus or spice. Full body but not heavy. Fairly one-note, but it is a full note. No sharp edges on this one and not much of a finish on this one, it kind of just carries on, smoothly, until it fades.
