Clear pale golden color with swirls of foam in the Timmermans goblet. Light body but crisp and sudsy. Aroma of honey and lemon. Warm malt taste with the slightest tart edge. Almost pineapple, not quite mango, a hint of leafy hops, and very restrained. Aftertaste is more of the light citrus peel taste with a woody note but not really bitter.
The fruit stays on the lips with the last sip. The fine-grained carbonation is the perfect accompaniment to the fruity aromatics. Quite an excellent brew in the Lager style. From the 16 oz can purchased at Central Market.
