I had this beer on-tap at the brewery in a straight-sided glass. They call this an “American Pilsner”.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a dash of haze and a thin layer of eggshell foam.
Smell: slightly sweet, slightly grainy aroma with a nicely smooth, somewhat grassy hop element. Not bad at all.
Taste: malt is on the grainy side, with a bit of lagery yeastiness and a moderately sharp hop bit. Not bad, but could maybe be rounded off a little.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not a bad take on a hoppy lager, but it could use a little refinement.
